IPM introduced SLAGPERL for the collection and removal of slag generated during molten-metal processing.
Its expansion behaviour allows dispersed slag to gather rapidly and form a coherent surface layer that can be removed more easily. By helping the collected layer remain intact during removal, SLAGPERL can shorten cleaning operations, limit heat loss and reduce manual workload.
SLAGPERL is suitable for use with cast iron, cast steel and high-alloy metals. It is available in 25-kilogram kraft bags supplied on wrapped pallets and in 40-kilogram polypropylene bags.
