Shipping

Our logistics teams plan and coordinate every stage from production to delivery.

Our logistics teams monitor every shipment from preparation through transport to delivery, keeping customers informed throughout the process.

We plan each shipment according to product availability, order quantity and agreed delivery terms. Information from production facilities, warehouses and carriers is reviewed together to establish a schedule covering dispatch through to delivery.

Product readiness, booking, loading, departure and estimated arrival are the key milestones we monitor. We compare progress against the planned schedule and assess how changes may affect subsequent transport and delivery arrangements.

We track shipment status using updated information from carriers, ports and terminals. When schedules change or delays occur, we coordinate with the parties involved, assess available options and inform customers of any changes affecting delivery.

While service providers carry out physical transport, we manage bookings, shipping instructions, documentation and delivery tracking internally. Our logistics teams provide customers with a consistent point of contact throughout the shipment.

Bulk Vessel Shipments

For shipments aboard bulk carriers, we monitor vessel suitability, estimated arrival at the loading port and readiness to load. We align production and inventory information with vessel schedules to coordinate cargo availability within the agreed loading window.

During loading, we work with the port operator to monitor quantities loaded, operational progress and expected completion. We check that product descriptions and quantities in loading records and transport documents match the shipping instructions.

Following departure, we track estimated arrival and schedule changes using information from the shipowner or shipbroker. Discharge, warehouse receipt and onward transport preparations are coordinated according to the updated vessel schedule.

Container Shipments

We track container shipments from booking confirmation onward. Equipment allocation, empty container collection, loading, terminal entry and vessel departure are monitored within a single shipment plan to check progress against the agreed schedule.

We link container numbers, seal details and loading inspection records to the relevant order and transport documents. Product descriptions, package counts, weights and delivery details are checked for consistency so that missing or incorrect information can be addressed before dispatch.

We monitor terminal entry and documentation deadlines according to the shipping line’s schedule. If the vessel changes, departure is postponed or a booking is transferred to another sailing, we coordinate with the carrier and update the shipment and delivery plan.

Throughout sea transport, we track vessel movements, any transshipment stages and estimated arrival using information supplied by carriers. We share the details required for destination terminal procedures and onward road transport to coordinate final delivery preparations.

Inland Waterway Transport

For inland waterway shipments, we focus on aligning the arriving vessel’s schedule with barge availability. Cargo status at the transfer point, barge allocation and loading times are monitored together to plan onward transport to the regional warehouse or delivery location.

We assess the impact of river transport schedules and navigation conditions with carriers. Arrival updates are incorporated into warehouse receiving and onward dispatch plans. Where changes occur, we coordinate inventory and delivery schedules with the relevant teams.

Documentation and Delivery Control

We maintain transport documents, booking and chartering records, loading reports and carrier instructions for each shipment. Product, quantity, consignee and destination details are checked against the order terms to maintain consistent information throughout transport and delivery.

Shipment tracking continues until the cargo reaches the agreed delivery point. We obtain delivery information from the relevant parties to complete our records. Any reported discrepancies involving quantities, packaging or delivery are reviewed, and the necessary follow-up is coordinated with customers and service providers.
